Upgrades & Boosts

Upgrades

Upgrades provide a passive income for shards. Upgrades provide a permanent boost to your shards gained per hour, the more upgrades you have, the more background income you earn.

Select the "Upgrade" tab in the navbar

There are multiple types of upgrades, some have certain unlock requirements such as a certain level of another upgrades or specific tasks that you can complete.

Select an upgrade and purchase it, the payment is in your shards that you earnt from playing the game: How to Play

Boosts

Similarly to upgrades, boosts are also purchased with shards, but serve a different function. They increase the amount of shards per tap, your energy reserve and how many taps you can do concurrently.

Select the "Play" tab in the navbar and select the "🚀 Boosts" button on the right of the energy bar

Select your boost and purchase. The boost will automatically activevate in the game. You can also upgrde your boosts
