Bonding Curves

Buying and selling keys to groups operate on a bonding curve pricing mechanism. We offer 2 bonding curve options for which group owners can choose from.

NOTE: The selection of a bonding curve is permanent once it is applied to a group, so choose carefully.

The bonding curve is calculated as follows:

$$price = \frac{n^p}{c}$$

Where $n$ = current amount of keys purchased, $p$ = power factor and $c$ = constant

Standard Bonding Curve

The standard bonding curve utilises the following power and constant values:

Where $p$ = 3 and $c$ = 50,000

Standard bonding curves are best suited for groups wishing for a larger amount of users to purchase and participate.

Premium Bonding Curve

The premium bonding curve utilises the following power and constant values::

Where $p$ = 2 and $c$ = 16

Premium bonding curves are better suited for smaller groups wishing for users to purchase access to exclusive content.
